Advanced Digital Processing for Communications and Science Satellite Payloads The Processor Product Group in Astrium is at the forefront of the development of digital signal processing payloads for space, with work being undertaken for a range of national and international customers. The responsibility of the group extends from research and development through to flight electronics development. The projects within the group are varied and offer unrivalled opportunities. In order to meet this challenge, we have immediate requirements at our Stevenage site for enthusiastic, experienced and self-motivated engineers. Successful applicants should possess a good engineering degree qualification and will demonstrate experience, knowledge and ability in some of the following areas: - Product development, technology leadership and team management.
- System level design.
- Design and implementation of advanced logic, timing, mixed-signal interfaces and measurement techniques up to 1 GHz.
- Digital Signal Processing techniques.
- Advanced design processes.
- FPGA Design.
- Mentor Graphics digital and mixed-signal design capture and verification tool suites, Matlab and Mathcad.
- Advanced manufacturing processes.
